Description
We hold tryouts within the first two weeks in May. Applicants are required to fill out a tryout packet and sign it (as well as their parents) and turn it in the week of tryouts, as well as grade checks. Packets are available in the front office weeks prior to tryouts.

Members are required to take a minimum of 3 hours of dance technique per week at any local studio. During Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks we still hold regular practices with adjusted times. Team members have 4 days max of time off to spend with family. We compete regularly during the months of January all the way through STATE in March. We attend a minimum of 3 and a max of 6 competitions per season, including districts and State.

Being a member of the Drill Team is a huge responsibility and takes up a lot of time. It is a large, but very rewarding, commitment.

We are always looking forward to seeing new faces each year. Best of luck to all future applicants.

Jaylynn was born and raised in Moses Lake, WA. She began her dance career when she was five years old and has been competing and performing ever since. Jaylynn has spent most of her life growing up in the studio. She was then a member and captain of the Molahiettes Dance Team for four years. After graduating from MLHS, Jaylynn then went on to continue dancing at Washington State University, as a Crimson Girl for two years. Having had taught dance for the last 5 plus years, she took the job as Head Coach of the Molahiettes Dance/Drill Team. She continues to teach studio dance at Today's Generation Dance Studio. Her hobbies (other than dance) include: spending time with family and friends, playing outdoor sports and reading.
