Physical Science - Agriculture
Physical Science Agriculture is an equivalency credit for Physical Science Chemistry and Physical Science Physics. Students in this course will participate in hands-on STEM projects including constructing a Rube Goldberg device, mousetrap vehicle, bridge and catapult. Units of study include Food Science, Energy, Force and Motion, Chemistry and Leadership.   
 
Agricultural Biology
Biology is a requirement for all students. Biology Agriculture is an equivalency credit for Biology and meets graduation requirements for Biology, one of the first projects students will work on is First Grade Farm Day. This course will include units in Cell Structure, Photosynthesis, Respiration, Genetics, Reproduction, Ecosystems, Sustainable Agriculture, and Classification. 
 
Advanced Horticulture
This course is recommended for anyone who loves the Horticulture-Greenhouse class and enjoys hands-on learning experiences. Advanced Horticulture will focus on the management of floral and greenhouse enterprises. Students will learn about cut flowers, floral design, crop and soil sciences, nursery and landscape practices, floral operations, and business & marketing.

Animal Science
Fun and exciting class focused on the production, management, nutrition, health, reproduction and safety of our food animals.
 
Veterinary Science
Take your animal science skills one step further. In Veterinary Science you will learn terminology, anatomy, hands on procedures, disease management and prevention along with so much more.
 
Women in Trades
This class is focused on the ladies. By introducing them to power and hand tools in a shop setting that is not intimidating or scary. Put your skills to the test and make your DIY list a reality in the woodshop. These life skills will stay with you wherever you go.

Physical Science Agriculture

Natural Resources
This course will cover areas of Agronomy, Environmental Science. Natural Resources, Wildlife Management, and Outdoor Recreation. Units of study include ecosystems, soils, water, wildlife habitat, outdoor survival, agronomy, GPS technology, and geocaching.
 
Ag Construction
It is a project based class where you will learn shop safety, basic hand tools, and stationary power tools.

An introduction to mechanical systems of the world, it will include: safety, basic electrical both AC & DC. Students will also learn the different wrenches and drivers used in the world of mechanics.

Welding & Manufacturing
This class you will learn welding and shop safety, welding angles, welding positions, joints, and how to set a machine up. This class can also help you on your way to get certified or give you the skills and knowledge to repair and fabricate things on your own.
