MLHS COVID-19 Information
The MLSD in conjunction with the Grant County Health Department is using the following guidelines to determine when it is appropriate for students to be on campus. This flow chart is subject to change at any time depending on community transmission. All schools are currently using this the same information to make decisions on quarantine vs. attending class.
What to do if a Person is Symptomatic at School (Updated February 2023)
**Please note that if your student tests positive for COVID-19 they should wear a mask around others on days 6-10 after symptoms start.
WA DOH Guidance to Prevent and REspond to COVID-19 in K-12 Schools and Child Cares (Updated 12/5/2022)
The Moses Lake High School has testing capacity for COVID/Influenza A/Influenza B. This is offered at no charge to students, staff, and community members. If your student has COVID or Influenza like symptoms or is needing a test for event participation, please contact the health room. Negative home tests are not accepted at this time. COVID like symptoms (any new or outside of baseline)
- Fever of 100.4' or higher or Chills
- Shortness of Breath / Difficulty Breathing
- Cough (new, changed, or worsening)
- Muscle or Body Aches
- New Loss of Taste or Smell
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
- Fatigue
- Sore throat
