Chromebooks + Internet FAQs

** The Learning Services Center is no longer supporting the distribution of Chromebooks and Hot Spots. **
 
Chromebook and Hotspot Distribution
  • Contact the MLSD IT Help at (509) 766-2650 x4411 to schedule an appointment.
  • A Help Desk ticket # will be required to gain access to local tech support.
  • If you do not have an appointment, the IT Building will be open Mon-Thur from 11am–2pm for walk-in help and assistance located at: 1318 W Ivy Ave, Moses Lake 
  • Only one (1) parent will be allowed into the IT Building at a time. No students.
  • All parents must sign a hotspot waiver form before receiving a hotspot device.
  • We continue to recommend contacting your local internet and mobile phone service provider for discounted rates during the school closure period.

Chromebook Distribution
• Today (Thursday) is the last FULL day to pick up a Chromebook.
• If you cannot visit the Learning Services Center today before 4pm, please call to schedule an appointment.
• Appointments are available 11am – 2pm : (509) 766.2650

HotSpot/Internet Distribution
• Currently still on BACKORDER
• Please pre-sign a waiver at our Learning Services Center today before 4pm if you are still in need of a Hot Spot.
• If you cannot visit the Learning Services Center today before 4pm, please call to schedule an appointment
• We continue to recommend contacting your local internet and cell service provider for discounted rates during the school closure period.

Hot Spots are on backorder!
 
 

Due to unprecedented demand, Hot Spots are no longer available at this time. We are working quickly to obtain more later this week and will notify you when they become available.

Please continue to work with your local service or cell providers for free or reduced-cost options. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Chromebooks are still available for pickup during the regularly posted times (or by appointment)

Chromebook Distribution
• For students still in need of a Chromebook, please pick up at the Learning Services Center (1620 S. Pioneer Way).
• Tues 17th–Friday 20th
  8am to 4pm 
 
• If you are unable to pick up your Chromebook before 4pm on Friday, March 20th–please call to set up an appointment:  (509) 793-7980

HotSpot/Internet Distribution 
• We recommend first contacting your local internet and cell service provider for discounted rates during the school closure period.
 
• We are working with local providers to provide further discounts for our student households.
