9th Grade: Freshman Focus Lesson - Will go over graduation requirements, academic supports and more!
10th & 12th Grade: Healthy Youth Survey (ANONYMOUS) - This survey asks questions about risks for injury, health outcomes, and alcohol and drug use. Schools, and state and local agencies use survey results to support our youth and reduce their risks. The Healthy Youth Survey is voluntary and anonymous and provides important information to guide policy and programs that serve our youth. For more information (English & Spanish) go to: HYS Info
11th Grade: Signs of Suicide (SOS) Prevention Lesson given by Counselors in the MLHS Theater - SOS Signs of Suicide as an example of an evidence-based, universal prevention program for high school students. SOS uses video, classroom discussion, and referral slips to encourage students to ACT (Acknowledge, Care, and Tell a trusted adult) when concerned about themselves or a friend.
